MOSCOW, April 7 (Xinhua) -- Russia struck 153 targets across Ukraine, including military airfields, the Russian Defense Ministry said Tuesday.

The Russian Armed Forces attacked "Ukraine's military-linked energy and transport infrastructure, enterprises producing cruise missile control systems and components, as well as military airfields and assembly workshops," the ministry said.

"The attacks also targeted storage sites for unmanned aerial vehicles and unmanned boats, along with temporary deployment points of Ukrainian armed formations and foreign mercenaries," it said, adding that it downed 217 fixed-wing drones along the front line over the past 24 hours. ■
