TOKYO, April 19 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar changed hands in the lower 107 yen range in early deals in Tokyo on Thursday, largely in line with its levels in New York overnight.
As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 107.35-36 yen compared with 107.19-29 yen in New York and 107.30-31 yen at 5 p.m. on Wednesday in Tokyo.
The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.2378-2380 dollars and 132.87-89 yen against 1.2369-2379 dollars and 132.64-74 yen in New York and 1.2364-2365 dollars and 132.67-71 yen in late Wednesday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
